Owner and coach, Mike Petruso, prides himself on creating a fitness community and culture where every athlete, regardless of fitness level, is treated fairly. He is extremely passionate about helping you reach your goals, surpass them, and literally become the best version of yourself possible. Mike has been involved with strength training and fitness since 2001 and began CrossFitting in 2013. He is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and has a CrossFit Weightlifting Certification and a CrossFit Gymnastics Certification. Mike is currently pursuing his Level 2 training status and always working on more to fulfill his hunger for knowledge.
During a CrossFit workout, you are constantly working your muscles (and brain) in new ways to give you a better physique while keeping your mind and body from simply going through the motions. CrossFit Wildwood has seven classes a day that are all a little different and fun – they’re fast-paced and motivational, leading to dramatic fitness gains. You’ll see noticeable changes quickly while eliminating hours spent at the gym! Whether you take one of Mike’s classes or choose one-on-one coaching, he will bring out the best in you if you are willing to show up, listen and take action.

Coaching & CrossFit
Mike is also a personal CrossFit coach; he enjoys one-on-one training and watching your life change before his eyes. He is there for you no matter what you need and is extremely experienced at programming workouts for ALL fitness levels, so don’t let CrossFit intimidate you; it can be done by anyone willing to try.
